California Rockfishes and Associated Species Products: The poster and guides have been designed to assist anglers in identifying rockfish which are caught in multispecies complexes, but are subject to species specific regulations.

The Rockfish Identificaiton Poster: The poster version is 28.5"H x 19.25"W and is available in laminated or unlaminated versions.

The Rockfish Identificaiton Guides: The 14"Wx11"H Flat Hand Guide, the 14"Wx11"H Wall Mount Guide and the 3.5"Wx11"H Folding Guides have the same content but are designed for different applications.

-Photos of 36 rockfish most commonly caught in the California recreational fishery as well as lingcod, kelp greenling, cabezon, and California scorpionfish.

-American Fisheries Society accepted common and scientific names of each species.

-Arrows and text pointing out the distinguishing ID characteristics of each species.

-Maximum length, age/ length and age at maturity for selected species.

-Maps showing the range, range of common occurence and depths where each species is found within California.
